Industrial Design Meetup Group near Austin

Meeting once a month and hopefully more frequently, we'd love for you to join us for discussion and appreciation of design from all disciplines, the collaboration on collective projects, an occasional field trip and any other ideas we can come up with (and you know they'll be good 'cause we're creatives, damnit... it's what designers do!).

An intentional/eco-village type community which starts as bunkhouse-share/weekend-farming second homes, but built with eventual retirement or cohousing in mind.

Meet other local people who are interested in making their homes environmentally friendly, healthy, and/or more energy efficient. Discuss techniques for making your home green or about building new green homes! We want to hear about contractors, building materials and techniques you've used or want to use. A Hands-on project to turn 3 acres of raw land into a small, off-the-grid sustainable farm, growing organic food & raising small farm animals. Members help with all aspects of each project.
