Arkitektura’s Design Assembly is a unique and ongoing series of talks, exhibitions, discussions and events with globally recognized influential figures from across the design disciplines. We aim to create opportunity for the broad and dynamic design communities in the Bay Area to assemble, share ideas and engage in discourse. This is where creative minds connect.

Tools for designing and making things are evolving at an astounding rate! As we watch different methodologies come and go, it becomes apparent that parts of one or bits of another will persist as landmarks on the bumpy road from pure thought into matter. We are interested in identifying and mapping these landmarks, forging new paths to try, and new techniques to explore. Come ride the wave of human potential with us into the post-digital era!

We are bringing together a community of product designers, electrical and mechanical engineers, inventors, prototypers, tinkerers, marketing masterminds, makers, and anyone interested in bringing new products into the world. Our facility at Inventor Labs is large and open and a great place to get together, so we're going to roll open the bay doors this summer (and beyond) to get some collaboration and brainstorming going.

We love to dress up, but we don't like the toll the fashion industry has taken on the environment and our health. So, we're coming up with creative new ways to make fashion more sustainable and democratic. From using recycled and organic fabrics, to manufacturing locally, to openly sharing every step of the production process, we want to explore all the ways the fashion industry can improve.
